  • A degree in archaeology, archaeological science or a related discipline.
  • The ability to operate with regard to health and safety legislation and any related policies
    and procedures.
  • Applicants should be members, or eligible for membership, of the CIfA, preferably at the MCIfA level.

  • In return, we offer an exciting range of employee benefits.

Employee benefits:

  • Competitive salary range £35,860 to £45,792 (*2023 pay award pending). Appointments will be made on the basis of demonstrated ability, previous experience and CIfA membership if appropriate.
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and up to 3 concessionary days at Christmas.
  • Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS); one of the few remaining “defined benefit” pension schemes remaining in the UK.
  • Training including placements, and opportunities for career progression.
